When we are misplaced or displaced from our singular significance—from fear, lack of integrity, playing small—the entire world is deficient. Inside of all of us there is the need and the desire to be heard, to have our innermost thoughts, feelings and desires expressed for others to hear, to see and to understand. We all want to matter to someone, to leave a mark. Writers just take those thoughts, feelings and desires and express them in such a way that the reader not only reads them but feels them as well.
It doesn't matter how I express myself artistically.It doesn't matter what medium I use to showcase my art.And it doesn't matter how talented I am.There will always be the indifference that keeps those from wanting to enjoy what I have to offer. But are shackled by the Jealousy,Hatred and Prejudice'sthat block there very soul from seeing over the Horizon.
I am now comfortable with standing in the beauty of my status as an unrepeatable and singular expression of humanity. I've become unwilling to discount the pieces of my soul that make me whole and disinclined to snuff my spark, break my brilliance or dim my shine. Living this truth supports and liberates me to live a life that complements my personal capability and capacity.
