When we confuse the needs with the desires; all the struggles we take lead to failure and disappointment.

Nothing outside of yourself can prevent you from achieving all of your hopes, dreams and desires….

I have two rules I follow religiously:#1. Don't sweat the small stuff.#2. It's all small stuff.

Only God is capable of telling us what our rights and needs are. You have to surrender that right to Him.

There is only what you want and what happens. There is only grabbing on and holding tight in the darkness.

Slavery remains rife, the shackles are just different. Labels and desires have replaced the cuffs and chains.

It's good to dream. We can't out-give God. We can't out-love him, and we can't out-dream him.

I get what it's like to want something, but to try and force yourself to really believe that you don't.

Relinquishing selfish wants, one is free to allow others to travel their own paths under the will of God. (18)

Religion is an illusion and it derives its strength from the fact that it falls in with our instinctual desires.

As soon as one promises not to do something, it becomes the one thing above all others that one most wishes to do.

You kissed me once and now you feel as if you’ve got some special kind of licence to do it whenever you want?

Remember that our desires will not arrive by our schedule. If you really want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans.

It doesn’t take objectivity to know what you want, and you’re not objective enough to know what you need.

With him, I've become like putty- rendered powerless by his magnificence- and his to mold into whatever he desires.
